Before booking any trip, expedition, self-drive package, or travel service with us, we request all participants to carefully read our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

By booking any service with Unurban Explorers, you agree to the terms mentioned below.


1. Booking Confirmation

Bookings for tours, expeditions, self-drive trips, off-road adventures, trekking experiences, accommodations, or travel packages are confirmed only after:

  • Receipt of required advance payment
  • Confirmation from our team
  • Availability of vehicles, accommodations, or slots

Unurban Explorers reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings in unavoidable circumstances.


2. Cancellation by Customer

If a participant wishes to cancel their booking, cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of cancellation before the trip departure date.

Cancellation Charges

More than 30 Days Before Departure

  • 10% of total booking amount may be deducted as processing charges.

15–30 Days Before Departure

  • 30% of total booking amount may be deducted.

7–14 Days Before Departure

  • 50% of total booking amount may be deducted.

Less than 7 Days Before Departure

  • No refund may be applicable.

No Show / Last-Minute Cancellation

  • No refund shall be provided.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall not be applicable in the following situations:

  • Failure to reach reporting location on time
  • Voluntary trip termination by participant
  • Weather-related route changes
  • Natural disasters or landslides
  • Political disturbances
  • Road closures
  • Permit restrictions
  • Medical emergencies during trip
  • Change of mind after departure
  • Violation of trip guidelines or safety rules

Adventure travel involves operational uncertainties, and participants are expected to cooperate during such situations.


4. Cancellation by Unurban Explorers

Unurban Explorers reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or reschedule trips due to:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural calamities
  • Low participation
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Route closures
  • Operational emergencies

In such cases:

  • Alternate dates may be offered
  • Credit notes may be provided
  • Partial or full refund may be considered depending on operational expenses already incurred

The company shall not be responsible for additional personal expenses such as:

  • Flight/train cancellations
  • Hotel bookings made independently
  • Personal shopping expenses
  • Visa-related costs

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are generally processed within:

7–14 business days

depending upon:

  • Banking institutions
  • Payment gateways
  • UPI/Card processing systems

Refund timelines may vary depending on the original mode of payment.


6. Payment Gateway Disclaimer

Online payments made through third-party payment gateways are processed securely.

Unurban Explorers does not store:

  • Debit/Credit card details
  • Banking passwords
  • UPI PINs
  • CVV information

All transactions are subject to the policies and technical processing of respective payment providers.


7. Self-Drive Vehicle & Security Deposit Policy

For self-drive expeditions or rented vehicles:

  • Participants may be required to submit refundable security deposits.
  • Any damage caused to vehicles, equipment, or accessories due to negligence or reckless driving may be deducted from the security amount.

Vehicle inspection shall be conducted before and after trip completion.


8. Weather & Adventure Activity Disclaimer

Adventure travel activities such as:

  • Trekking
  • Snow drives
  • Mountain expeditions
  • Off-roading
  • River crossing
  • Camping

are subject to weather conditions and terrain accessibility.

No refund shall be applicable for itinerary modifications caused by safety concerns or environmental conditions beyond human control.

Participant safety remains our highest priority.


9. Accommodation & Partner Services

Hotels, camps, homestays, and third-party service providers associated with Unurban Explorers operate independently.

While we strive to ensure quality experiences, the company shall not be held responsible for:

  • Service delays
  • Hotel management issues
  • Temporary facility unavailability
  • Third-party operational limitations

10. Transfer Policy

Trip transfers to another participant may be allowed subject to prior approval from the company and operational feasibility.

Additional administrative charges may apply.


11. Policy Updates

Unurban Explorers reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.

Updated terms become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
